During California’s June 2 primary, voters will decide the nominee for governor and lieutenant governor, as well as six statewide offices—meaning a majority of its constitutional offices could soon be held by women. Plus, California only needs to add nine more women to its state legislature to achieve parity.

Reminder: California has never had a female governor.
